Pura Mama

HomeThe app

“Just eat healthy” has never once helped a postpartum mother.

Your gut is slower. Your stomach acid has shifted. Your nervous system is still in survival mode. Even good food does not land the way it used to.

No card, no account, nothing to cancel.

The first screen of the Pura Mama app, in three languages

You didn’t just have a baby. You gave pieces of yourself away.

Your iron, your magnesium, your zinc, your B12. That is exactly how it was supposed to work. Nobody tells you that no one comes to put it back.

The anxiety that arrives at 4pm for no reason. The rage that scares you.The flat grey feeling you are afraid to say out loud. The hair in the shower drain. The exhaustion that sleep does not touch.

You start wondering what is wrong with you, when the truth is you are running a whole human on an empty tank.

Some of that is depletion, and food helps. Some of it is not, and food will not. If your mood frightens you, that belongs with your doctor or your midwife, and we will always tell you so.

What the app actually does

This app was built for exactly that: real food, in the right form, at the stage of healing you are actually in. Warming meals while your body is still open and raw, rebuilding foods when you are ready to store energy again.

A week of meals

Three a day, seven days, matched to your stage. Flex alternates share the week's groceries, so a swap never breaks your shopping.

One grocery list

Compiled from the real recipes, alternates included. Share it, or hand it to your cook.

A coach, any hour

Ask about meals, recovery, sleep, baby feeds, or anything else on your mind that day.

Patterns you can see

Your check-ins become trends over 14, 30 or 60 days, so month four stops being a mystery.

Your week, in one tap

One tap builds your whole week from your stage and your restrictions, then compiles the grocery list so you shop once and are done.

  1. Cook the way you actually cookCook daily, prep once, or a mix. The plan is built to the rhythm you pick.
  2. Your restrictions come firstThey filter the recipe library before a plan exists, so nothing you cannot eat can enter the week.
  3. One list, one shopThe grocery list compiles from the real recipes, alternates included.
  4. The day still adjustsPlan the week, cook the day: your daily check-in still fine-tunes each day.

The coach in the app, with its suggested questions

Ask it anything, at any hour

“Hi mama. I'm here for you, ask me about meals, recovery, sleep, baby feeds, or anything else on your mind today.”

The coach opens over whatever you were doing and knows the plan it just built for you.

  • Why this plan today?
  • What should I eat right now?
  • How am I doing this week?

Open the app

It learns your rhythm

Two taps a day. The coach reads six things, and what it notices changes what you are offered tomorrow.

  • Mood
  • Energy
  • Digestion
  • Sleep
  • Pain & comfort
  • Appetite

Over 14, 30 or 60 days those become averages you can watch move: energy, mood, digestion, sleep and recovery.

Before you open it

Do I need an account?

No. Open the app and start: the plan and the coach work without signing up. An account is only for carrying your plans to another phone. Fair-use daily caps apply while signed out, and signing up lifts them.

Is it really free?

Yes. Free, no card, no trial, nothing to cancel. Plus is $12.99 a month if you want it.

Does it work on my phone?

It runs in your browser and installs to your home screen like any app. iPhone and Android, no app store needed.

Which languages?

English, Spanish and French, chosen on the very first screen and changeable later.

Start eating like someone is taking care of you

Free, in English, Spanish and French, because healing postpartum should not depend on what you can afford.
